Uncover the Grill
If you haven't already used the grill this spring, now is the time to get it out of the shed or take off the protective cover that has shielded it during the winter months. Once you strip off the cover, do a quick check for spider nests or any pests that may have taken up residence in the shelter of the grill. You may also need to buy another tank of propane if you have a gas grill. Give the grill a quick cleaning and fire it up briefly to ensure that it is ready to cook up some delicious meat or veggies for Memorial Day.
Clear the Yard
Your outdoor space may still be suffering the effects of winter. Pick up the dead branches off the porch or deck, skim the leaves off the pool cover, and rake up any matted, dead grass, twigs, and other debris that may have collected on your lawn.
